If they're chrome you do also if they're painted with a base clear. Or you can buff single-stage.

I use comet on teh tires to get dirt and crap out of the rubber.

Yes..that Comet. Then add a gong brush from the dollar/cheap chinese store and your brown tires can be black again.

On another note, what is the best way to get tree sap off rims? Not exactly sure how long it has been there. It was there when we bought the van.

Painted the 'Special Edition' arrowhead on the drivers side a nice pontiac red.Looks tons better then that white pink it was. Will make an attempt to peel off these pinstripes and then go for a nice detail since weather is cooperating,nice breeze and all.
