What did you do to your Car today?

Ok to explain the pic, I have a 18v drill and circular saw made by McCulloch and ive had these for many years and if it had good batteries it would be better than most drills today.

But since I bought a mastercraft maximum 18v drill some months ago, and now im cleaning up my tool room, i was just going to chuck the McC drill and saw, and had an idea to remove the batteries and put a wire in and then i will put clamps on the end so I can hook it up to a vehicle's battery and then dont have to worry about changing batteries.

Ok thats way too much explanation.

Just started my car for a few to keep the battery charged and to maintain fuel flow and just for the hell of it decided to check tranny fluid level even though I think its dead turns out transmission is low so running to grab fluid and see if maybe it'll make the tranny miraculously work again. Probably wont work but i'm doing this on a whim hoping it'll allow me to save to rebuild it if at all possible or get that new tranny for a backup when it goes out (judging that this does something)

they exhaust tips are just held on by U bold clamps, atleast both my GTPs are. any idea about what grit to use? prob like 1500?

What are you trying to do, clean them up? paint them? also depends on how bad they are. if you can get a picture for me I could tell you what grit.

Installed hids into headlights and they are pissing me off. With the relay i have to enable high beams than disable. the bulbs also like 2 different temps

Ya i know, but a car battery is more than 12, but ill test and see if good or not, need to by clamps.

But if i dindt do this - i would have chucked them. So no harm done.

car battery is 12 volts. it will only read higher if the engine is running, the alt will jump it up to 13. whatever.

the tools should still work, maybe just lower top speed. being they are 18 volt tools.

when i filled mine 2 weeks ago it costed $62.42 for 12.808 gallons do the math and tell me how ridiculous that is per gallon

I think they'll release some from the strategic reserve just before the Nov. election. The price will drop for about two weeks, fill your cars and cans.
