Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

My donor motor arrived today. Was originally going to be a 48k l36 from a Bonnie but fell through. So the next best choice was an l36 from a 97 fbody. I'm happy, now ill have the parts for the fbody turbo setup next year.

Got all the brake lines on the car and bled them. Car stops better than it did before the line blew.

Bit the bullet and set my AGX' to 4. Actually works well with my B&Gs, other than nasty pot holes. Drove it to the end of Utah hwy 193 to watch an 8-acre wild fire on the mountain from the bottom. Drove home blaring 3DG's "Break" windows down, sunroof open on the interstate. Now to roll my fenders w/out waking the neighbors. :th_peaceout:

Delivered papers this morning, got some school supplies, filled it up.

Finally took the Impala to the car wash after about a year. Looks perty now. I could wash the Grand Prix, but with the on and off showers, and the unpaved roads I drive across delivering papers, it looks good for a day.

to start e few days ago - ive been busy.

My insurance per year - $450, and $2200 if i want collision.

earlier in the week, had a cop try and rip off my Illegal fromt tint, he was partially sucessfull, will throw pic later - no ticket though.

I dont know but bad week for my and cops - I had one show up at my door stating i was racing on a highway - he didnt even look at my car, just wrote a ticket out, he had eye witnesses. I went down to cop shop, and had them read the eye witness report, and then look at my car and said ticket stands, eventhough my car doesnt match report - guess how.

Well my car has many decals, that arnt in the report.
So i took a copy of the report to the court house and waited for a judge to have time to review the report. within minutes he cancelled the ticket and he said he would write a letter to the Chief to complain about the cops, and he said other stuff to me about this problem. But cant afford a lawer or cop problems.

But on another note

How much do you guys pay for having a tire mounted and balanced?

I went to a shop that has a machine setup for powdercoating, it was $25 for install and $25 for balancing, Thats $50 per tire!
But is was great work, no scratches, took time to mount properly and to tighten the nuts properly.
Just thought it was a lot.

$5 around here mounted and balanced

I "fixed" my wife's friends car where she ran into the garage door. It looks better but i'm no body man. Then I spent the last couple of hours trying to chase down a p0301 cyl 1 misfire on an 01 olds intrigue. Swapped coils, plug boots, and plugs. Getting ready to swap injectors when the motor cools down. I've about had it with this car, if this doesn't fix it i'm buying a compression checker and seeing if something is wrong with the cylinder.

My car hasn't moved since Friday evening and I haven't even looked at it today.
She probably thinks I deserted her. Oh well, Tuesday morning I'll be ditching it for a few days for a 08 F450 :)

Just swapped injectors and no change in fact i think it's worse now. I'm thinking the motor is ****ed. I'll buy a compression tester tom and see what it reads.

Test driving an 2008 Omega Red GP GXP til Monday. May end up getting it, then swapping over suspension goodies from my GTP and modifying the roof rails to fit. We'll see.

Drove it to work and taking it to an exhaust shop to have them straighten the tips and find the leak as I don't have access to a Lift this week or oxy acetylene torch.... ever.
