• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

What calculates the oil life? My 03 Buick is at 72% and its been 3000 miles since my last oil change...my owners manual recommends every 7500, I do it every 5000.

It calculates mileage, short or long trips, and other things. I just feel better doing it every 3000

i act like that oil life things not there at all, i set my trip to zero when i change my oil, and leave it on trip, when it hits 3,000 its time again. im at 1700 since the last change now lol

I'm running full synthetic and do 3000 miles in a month. Ill shorten my intervals eventually but with 77000 miles I think I'm good. My oil is still a nice light tan at 3000. I see oil coming out of rental cars at 5,6,7000 miles and it's not dark until upwards of 7000. Except the chrysler/dodge/jeep,those are pretty dark around 5000 actually.

I was runnin some errands after work today and I figured what the heck, maybe it needs some gas. Very rarely she gets this low but I had shiit to do. lolz

Plopped in a new low coolant sensor and temporarily my light is gone!

Also learned the hard way you don't leave the car idling for 10 minutes in 100 degree heat with the AC on max lol I filled up my overflow reservoir and then some..

^ very nice, i want to wrap my pillars inside the car and do a dark headliner to match the seats.
Other than that nothing really, installed air freshner mod lol to get rid of some the smell from fatmat install.

Watched it burn. Watched it burn to the ground this time. There's no rebuilding it this time. So it looks like I need a new car. I'll post pix when I can.
