Unplugged the wire for the reverse and tag lights because it keeps blowing the fuse which also powers some of the interior lights. Grrr

swapped my wheel bearing/hub today. that was a fun 45 minute job.

on a side note, that hub was causing the car to drift on the highway badly.

and you just dont know how messed up your brakes are till the rotor is sitting tight in the caliper again.

so no more drifting, no more clunking over bumps, no more abs light BS, and the brakes feel like new again.


the bad news my less than a year old sway bar and bushings, has blown the pass side bushing to crap already wtf's up with that? dorman....say hello to your new polys coming soon.

Prob your hub.
 
Newspaper delivery this morning, installed the replacement hub assembly. Didn't hear any rattles when I went to return the wheel hub socket set. I'll know for sure tomorrow when I fling papers. Then it's bye bye to the Grand Prix for a few days for the new transmission install.
 
discovered my alt bolt missing. stopped by my friends house and i bet ya didn't know that a red max back pack blower exhaust bolt is the same size as the alt bolt....fits like a glove.
 
drove it to work and just sold my top swap to a guy in a 09 G8 GXP thing was nasty! my GTP looked like **** next to it lol

Found out why my reverse lights kept blowing fuses. Looks like I pinched a wire reinstalling the light fixture. Fixed the wire reinstalled and tested, fuse didn't blow again.

Filled her up with gas. She's filthy dusty and muddy, and she will stay that way until at least Friday.

Oh how I love 4-H fair week :) :)
 
SeaFoamed the **** out of it, beat the crap out of it with a miss, changed coil sending unit.... kicked the tires.. thats about it
