• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

yesterday got gas, made sure all tires had exactly 35psi in them, got it washed in a fancy car wash, put a bunch of new tunes on my memory stick and then parked it backwards on my steep driveway, looks great! :th_biggrin2:

...and painted my supercharger with some black ceramic caliper paint... While it was on the motor. Lol. Boredom took over. Wonder if the heat will **** that up?

If you used actual Caliper paint, it will work fine. Think about how hot the brakes get when you go to stop from 70mph, or lay on them in a emergency situation, they get hot. Most of the time the high temp paint for engines and calipers are safe to around 500* F once they cure, so you should be fine.
The only thing that would make it flake off would be poor prepping, dirtiness, oils, etc... If it was layed right, it should stay for a long time. :th_thumb-up:

Cool. That was my logic also. U think 500* engine enamel clear coat is okay to lay over it as well then? The clear coat is not ceramic.

I used High Temp Silver and Clear, M90 is still silver, but the snout lost some paint from grease that I didn't know was there, its ok tho. The Valve Covers tho, sheesh... they nasty, apparently needed some sanding, primer with promoter and then painted... over half flaked off the first time I washed under the hood, I almost teared up. such a pain to take off just to repaint and put back on. :th_shakinghead1:

That was on Bonnie

received my nice new key fob in the mail today, programmed it in, and then said to my self , do the old one too. i did and the damn thing works great now.

i guess if you take the battery out long enough it losses its programming.

Drove the balls out of it. Almost put 200 miles on it today. Every time I accelerate I get a back massage from all the sweet vibrations and now I have some awesome rattling underneath my car when I'm idling in drive with the A/C on. #LifeOfAGrandPrixOwner

I fixed a leak on my front header to crossover. My wb is now showing 10.0-10.6 WOT I really need to get on the tune for it. I also changed the spark plugs in my sister's friends car and found out that her bushings are missing out of her shift linkage making for a very sloppy shifter and she's been driving it like that for a few years.

went to my bro's and finished rebuild on sandblaster, and nearly finished sandblasting the 3rd rim.
Just tooooo dam hot!!!!!! :th_angry-teeth:

But sandblaster works better than new.

Need A/C in the garage.
