• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

grease your sockets. drill a few 1/8 inch holes in the bottom of the tails. check your lic plate lights, thats a easy ticket.

Funny you mention the license plate light. Got stopped about 3 weeks ago because it was out and a police officer said I was weaving at 3:30 AM. I was delivering papers, so the cop just told me to get the light fixed and let me off clean. Had to get brakes that day anyway, so got the light bulb at Advance Auto.

GPO grills are in. going to wash the car and throw them on as soon as i can plastidip those sh1tty mesh inserts.

Bought it :) Tonight I'm cleaning maf and tb and tomorrow it's getting inspected and hopefully a bath.. needs it so bad.

Oh dang. I thought there was some free interwebs offer ;) lol

I got 1k worth of guitar gear for helping a guy with his car once.

But I wish I knew people with tuners lol

Lol, I mean don't get me wrong, if the sun is shining there's absolutely no question, the air will be ON like a mafaker. However when the sun goes down, wind will keep you cool enough and with the less traffic at night I like the extra power to scoot on around :)

F*ck that theory. As I drove to work the other day, it was 82* with a heat index of 90 at 4am. The sun was 2 hours from showing itself and my AC was blasting.

Oh snap...

It was only 104 here today...good day for riding, glad I got my mesh and plate gear in the other day...be way too hot to ride in my normal gear.

Anyways, in said 104 degree heat, changed my sprockets and chain (they were the factory pieces, just hit 15k miles today)
And put my new awesome-o aluminum chain guard on.. Bike rides so damn much better.

Tonight's episode proved you are correct. I had the sunroof and windows down doing 80 and I was hotter than a crack whore's ass crack. But yeah...air was on.

So I rolled 116k today, and then I went to move my car earlier in the day, and with it in gear, the rpms started floating up and down 500-1k and repeat. Sounded like it was loping. So I made sure a vac line or something hadn't popped off. All was good. And I drove the 50-60 miles back home problem free, damn GPs.

Ah, and Bill, the air kicks its ass off, and it's just barely enough power loss to know it's there, but it still gets and goes sooo I don't think it's a problem, just normal.
