What did you do to your Car today?

Mashed the gas from a 60 punch and beat a CTS-V as well as a modded 350Z. Then the wife got upset and became all *****y since she was in the car. I looked at her and said why the **** would I mod the car if I'm not going to have fun with it. She apologized and ****ed my brains out later. Winning....

Put fuel in it, essentially giving it a new lease on life for another week.

Although I will be replacing the entire front suspension here in a couple weeks.

You have to be 18 to go into the salvage yard? The hell. I've been going to the yard alone since I was 15

i can get into the ones down Philly witch is like a 20 min ride but there isnt alot of Grand Prix and when there are they are all stripped usually. also they pull the parts for you, there are 2 yards u-pull-it and pic-a-part there the only ones around here that i know of where you pull your own parts.

Drove it to the courthouse wedged between a Grand Am and a G8. Passed four red Grand Ams, three white Grand Ams, a black Grand Prix, a midnight blue Grand Prix, and a Bonnieville, then parked in front of a G6.

Damn, there's a lot of Pontiacs in this town.

Re: What did you do to your Grand Prix today?

Got my car inspected and they noticed the steering rack was leaking. They claimed it was required to pass, I thought it was BS. Ever since the car drives brand new. It must have been F-ed up the whole five years I've had the car. The car is so sharp and nimble. Before the steering was unresponsive and had tons of understeer(where it always goes way wide on rights). I just though the 4 door grand prix was just a big heavy american car. I've been cheating myself the whole time of a good driving experience.

pulled all the plugs and checked them so i could tweak the injector skew % in the PCM file. i have been running with only 3&4 2% richer then the others...
#1 was ever so slightly richer then the rest so i pulled .5%
#2 was ever so slightly leaner so i added .5%
#6 was noticeably leaner but not drastically vs the rest so it got 1.5% increase

Im sure it is just psychological but the engine sounds smoother

Going to be doing this with my car as well.

Between injector variances and flow variances, no skew doesn't make sense.

And they don't make them anymore. Sad.

I painted my rear calipers today and changed my spark plugs. Since I put my side gapped plugs in my gas mileage went down 2 mpg so I just put regular 104's it in.

Drove it like a racekar again. I had to make it from work to Bluffton (usually a 20 minute drive doing the speed limit) in 15 min, preferably less.
So to the back roads I went and put the hammer down. Made it in 12. Just in time to catch the UPS driver and throw him the very urgent package.

This tank of gas hates me already.

Drive it like you stole it!

I noticed my sweet clear corners are allowing water inside and not a pocket of ****s was given :)
