• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

I have to get my Torque ap working again too. I bought mine before they got the KR working and haven't tried it since they fixed it. There's a cople of threads and there's a site you can go to maybe to get some help.

Ok... so I finally got to open her up a bit, now the rain has gone away. Got off the train, drove to my daughters LaCrosse game, awesome game by the way, she scored the game winner, 3 mins left on clock, woo hoo... :D

Anyways, I live where twisty turny roads and quick tight hills are common. So... I got her going to test out my new axle and those KYB GR2 strut assembly's I put in, along with a slightly aggressive alignment (-.8* camber) and of course let's not forget those Portenza RE970AS's I put where the car meets the road...

All I gotta say is HOLY COW!!! what a diff...

I couldn't get her to break free, not even a little squeal thru pretty serious turns, 60+! Just for the record, although I LOVE my leather interior, it sucks for slalom driving, hahaha... my BUTT was sliding all over the place, but the car wasn't.

I'm truly very happy with all the components I selected and got just the ride I wanted. TIGHT... Real TIGHT! I'll try to rig something up and get some vid (maybe), lolz.

I can only imagine what you would say if you drove a car that actually handled well.

As for what I did, I used my car as an ambulance today. An employee cut a huge gash in his forearm and I rushed him to the hospital. Today is the hardest I have ever run the GP.

Oh the COP was the only vehicle to get out of my way along the 6hr trip, everyone else I would just pass them. I tried to get a 4th gen Z28 to take the bait, but instead he just let me pass. I was hoping to have a little fun on those open back roads through TX. Oh and this Torque app is kicking my arse.

Change the settings to GM and uninstall the app, reinstall, and boom, works like a charm

Naw, I got those settings just right. It was the elm device that was not connecting to my phone, got it to work and took it for a run, I like this app a lot. If it is correct though I think I need a LIM. The boost only reached 3.3 at WOT, at least I had no KR.

Scored a new extra supercharger for my GTP. For Free. Sending to the polisher to make it shine before installing it. Does changing the pulley gain any noticeable hp ?

scan for KR before dropping pulley size, you need various other mods to support smaller pulley sizes

worked on my friends 3500 dump truck again, its a 6.0. got the intake removed and knock sensors replaced, it had a code for injector one so while it was off ( the new one has not been delivered ) we tried to clean it only one nozzle was spraying, not 2, so after i put it all back together i notice im missing the O ring for the fuel cross over from rail to rail, sucks! put it all back together and i need to find a O ring tomorrow morning.

also changed 2 of the 4 o2 sensors.

wish the new injector was here, but its a easy swap to do later on in the week.

made some nice coin for 3 hours work, and i took my time, and had spectators the whole time.

Washed, waxed and detailed my 03 Vic Sport before we leave for vacation tomorrow. Gave her an oil change as well. Heading up to Indy to see what we've been missing all these years going to the races and back. Been going there over 10 years and never seen anything but the track, lol... Going to the Children's Museum, the Zoo, etc.. Should be fun.

Finally had the time to clean the engine bay again. It's been almost 3 months since I last cleaned it. Winter sucks, lol... Damn salt. Other than a few missed spots it looks pretty good for an almost 10 yr. old car. I always start a vacation w/ a clean car. I absolutely hate driving a dirty car somewhere out of state. Not sure why but it is what it is.

Hahahaha, my GTP handles pretty well considering almost the entire suspension is NEW. But when I said Holy Cow, it was a meant for how the GTP handles, lmao...

No way I'd let a bleeding arm in my GTP... in the trunk maybe, but not interior...
(joking)

Simple answer, like your question, is yes, of course...

BUT!!!

IT's not that simple unless you want to fix what WILL break by doing something so simple... lol

Simple rules are if you put more air in, you have to let more air out. That plus accounting for the difference in air with the computerized control of the fuel inlet and spark to fire it all, meaning a tuned pcm. So sure, you can just drop a pulley and get a few HP, or you can do it right and get a LOT of HP... lol, and keep your engine safe for a while.

You have to ask yourself why you want to put a smaller pulley, know where you want to stop with you mod's/HP and then make a plan. Then start modding, scanning, dropping pulley's, etc.

Do some research, the GTP is the poor man's race car afterall... it won't hurt much ($)...

The car is super nose heavy. It will never be a good handling car compared to cars that actually do handle well. Maybe I am jaded, but I have driven cars that are slower that I could push harder than the GP can be pushed.

As for my employee, we wrapped the hell out of his arm is some cottom gauze. He managed to not get a single drop of blood in the car. He left it all on the shop floor where he cut himself.

My old focus I had I could throw that thing around corners like it was nothing. It was super slow but was the best cornering car I've ever owned.

Nothing to the car. Did however move its spare parts and future secret projects out of the dining room at the wife's "request"

i know how that request sounds too....heard it a million times. and its only done after you are asked 4 or 5 times witch make the tone of said request sound harsher and harsher lol

most of the time its not a problem, (if its cleaned up and gone before morning ) but if its still there the next morning, watch out!
