• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

my seat drivers seat almost touches the back seat i have it so far back it looks like a camaro's back seat, like no one is sitting behind me.;)

Did you check to see if the switch came unhooked or something? Or maybe something in the track under the seat keeping from moving?

yeah if you lift the seat you should be able to see the wires that plug in under the seat. or it could be the power switch on the side of the seat maybe flick it a bit or play with its plug on the back side of the trim piece. i think its a few screws holding the side trim on the seat.

I smacked it really hard and hurt my hand, but hey it works again lol.
Everythig was clear and looked hooked up. Maybe the switch is just getting tired. I'll check the connection later when I'm tinkering tomorrow. Tranny fluid change here I come.

Took the spoiler off in attempts to seal the holes to stop water leaks. Failed miserably.
I like the spoiler on the car, but its a love/hate relationship with install.
Between the holes not lining up and leaks, grrr!

It's still leaking after I poured a bucket of water on the deck.
Idk what else to do besides getting a spray can of silicone sealant and spraying the crap out of each screw.
They have double stick tape around each hole, silicone on each bolt plus a rubber washer.
The spoiler still wont sit flush against the deck, so the tape is kinda pointless, but oh well.

Anyways, took it to get the oil changed.
Found out for sure its the oil pan gasket leaking and the oil pan has a dent.
So I got quoted $675 with a new pan or -$191 if I wanted to use the old one.
They did make sure all the bolts were tight, so I don't have to worry about that.

It's always something...

The 191 was the pan itself.
Without a new pan, it was 450ish.
This was at the gm dealership, so im sure its a little high.

Since I just got oil changed, its gonna wait till next 3k miles anyways. Because I'm cheap.

You could do it in the driveway with a jack. I've heard it's a pain but it'd save you a lot of money. Make the BF do it and make him one of those bacon cheeseburgers :D

Haha, he already told me he wants nothing to do with it because of the frame and lifting the motor.

Filled it with gas.... Also debating on whether to get new front speakers and lose the JL and get some nice Boston Acoustics (half off) or get my spoiler painted... Tough call.

just so i know for future reference...

how tough of a job is it to take that stuff off wheels??

its really not hard just time consuming.
the main part is the rear where the over spray went but an sop pad took care of that' and the holes where the lug nuts go, my fat fingers cant get in there and pinch/pull the stuff out of the bottom

Drove it to the store. Looked at the rotors and brake pads in the trunk and thought how I really should do the brakes. Drove it home, saw the pads and rotors again as I unloaded groceries, but closed the trunk and ignored them.
