• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

next time I'm under my car i should check see if mines cracked.. i get tossed around in the wind on the hwy even tho its a big car lol

soo did you do the $65 kit or the $85 kit? im between the two.. I would assume the $85 kit since I'm gonna need the seals gaskets and filter anyways right?

Also, it says "Please note- The Transgo Shift Kit is NOT a performance shift kit! If your intentions are firmer performance feel shifts then please contact us for additional tips and instructions."

so if thats the case...why buy it? i mean when i don't have my nixon pcm with maxed out trans settings, it's a sloppy mess. so i'm sure it would help but i thought the whole point of a shift kit is to firm the shifts...

i contacted dave, he stated to buy the 85 kit, because even though i wont use everything, its still cheaper.

he also sent me extra springs and spacers so i can get a firm shift. he said out of the box it will just be faster. but with everything he sent it will be faster and firmer.

so with the kit theres a fast shift and a firm shift and i can pick one or the other out of the kit i receive?

if you just order the kit, you will have faster, smoother shifts. if you contact him before it ships, he will throw in instructions on springs and spacers to set up a fast, FIRM shift. you just have to specify.

ah okay. well i'll contact him then. did he specify what exactly changes? does he send a different spring and spacer or is it instructions on modifying it?

instructions, and he said theres already a spring in it i wont be using, and thats the one i should install in the 1-2 accumulator. ill post a review when i get it installed :)

First thing I put on was a Thrasher shift kit. I like the setup and I still have the extra springs and instructions in case I want to go firmer.

Ran it through the carwash, filled it up, turned over 160,000 miles.....

It's what the car did, not what I did. It got me back and forth from work, then hauled four of us out to dinner and some karaoke or however you spell that crap. On the way back with me as the DD, I drown out the noise of chatty Kathy in the back seat with some extra decibels of "White Wedding". What a hit that was.

Threw my suitcase in the backseat, drove it to work. 20 miles away from rolling 117k.
And then come 5pm, I'll be east bound and down, loaded up and truckin to Columbus.

I don't like Wisconsin. But that could be because every time I've been there its been middle of winter and below zero temps and ice, no bueno lol.

haha. i lived up there for a little over a year. i like snow and cold so it didnt bother me a bit. thats actually what im goin up there for.... SNOCROSS!!!

yea they are gonna have to make snow for the finals. should be a good time... sunny and 70's watchin sleds rip around the track all while wearing shorts and drinking beer!!
