Aero does boost too! Seems like it does everything! Lol might do boost and something else....its been forever since I've put gauges in one of cars, so im just getting familiar with the types of gauges that are out now. Lol
 
Had to take it for a ride and listen to the whine of the S/C with the new open cone I put in yesterday...

lol, so count me in for two (day) posts...
 


I rolled 193,000 last night/this morning. I fear the "how far can I go with a bad transmission" test is coming to an end. It's hiccuping quite often. Not bad, 20,000 on a problematic stock trans since the first occurance of the "issue". :D Plus 193,000 and still got 4th gear. Wooohooo

Got in it to go to school to take an exam only to find the ash tray slid open and the passenger door not shut closed. Upon questioning the family, I found out that there was indeed lights on last night (sensor detection) and the dogs were barking. Soo I'm forced to assume that someone was prowling around last. I'm so pissed! I always lock my door ALWAYS. And yesterday I was in a hurry and forgot :(

Luckily nothing was missing nor broken.

And the exam I went to take I failed that too. Yay for sh!tty day #2 in a row.
 
You gotta study harder Mafdon BTW I was thinking yesterday as my trans is hiccuping a lot lately. I haven't checked TPS or MAF, it would be very bad with me harassing you about th maf sensor if my issue was the same.
 
Lol. I studied. He just framed the exam totally different than what he had been giving us. I might have done okay, I just like walking out of an exam feeling like I kicked its ass, and not the other way around.

And Idk what to do with mine. I've cleaned and cleaned and cleaned the MAF sensor until it won't clean anymore. It worked such wonders last time. The TPS, I don't really see anything I CAN do with it unless I'm missing something. So yeah idk. Yesterday it done just fine but the day before it did it 4 times. Go figure.

I really like your Regal Bill. Those are really nice cars and you don't see too many of them around any more. Maybe try another pan drop and another bottle of Lucas before swapping that trans lol
 
I have a plug in the trans pan. At 173K when it started this last Dec 17th, it drained clutch mud and I hoped for a couple weeks to get one rebuilt. I didn't do a filter or anything except refill with a quart of Lucas and some Dex 3. That bought me a year and 20,000 miles. I built the trans and it's sitting in the corner waiting to go in. At the same time I'll fix the oil leak from either a rear main or rear cover issue. At 193,000 it still has 4th gear and we all know that in itself is a matter of time before it lets go. It's time. I have a couple weeks off, access to a heated shop that a mechanic buddy owns. It's nearly time.
