went to the junkyard and found some body color gt badges and pontiac mud flaps :D paid 0 dollars ;]

went to the junkyard for fun parts. only had 3 97-03 Grand Prixs, and one was more smush than anything. needless to say it didn't end successfully.
 
okay, this is over the last week to my brothers car.
monday- coolant system flush and tstat removed.
tuesday- new water pump. had to remove p/s pump to get ONE bolt out of the w/p. discover hole in radiator
wenestday-take radiator out
thursday-new radiator in, oil change.
friday-trans fluid and filter.
 
Drove it and gave little brother (hes 8) a ride in it too. ;)

Had to kinda play the impressive brother role when he asked how "loud it is." Gave him a 0-65 run and I think he was kinda impressed based on his response of "does it have a V8?"

My son who is 8 tells his friends that "my dad's car is fast, it's supercharged" lol
 
Installed my aeroforce gauge and oil pressure gauge. Battery goes dead in the process and I thought I had messed up one of the engine's grounds but it was just the battery lol. And I discovered a minor coolant leak, pulled the alternator and tensioner bracket and didn't really get a clear answer where it's leaking. So ill put it back together tomorrow and pressure test it some other day.

yeah i replaced the two (lim and water pump) elbows when i done the LIM gasket about 6-7k miles ago.. It's leaking right on top of the motor mount, and I seen a wet spot right above the water pump and kinda underneath the corner of the LIM gasket towards the firewall. So my guess is water pump, elbows, or the corner, but I put quite a bit of rtv in the corners so idk.
 
Yesterday I installed my gt style wing after making custom spacers to get the height needed, check sigy for pic. Tommorrow plan to replace my cat and pipe.
 


Drove another couple hundred miles. Enjoying the music, superb handling and powah of Super Regal.... car with trans issues that refuses to show them!

Currently at about 190,750 and still rolling with 4th gear and all. :th_peaceout:
