I found a good tire shop by me, whenever i needed to replace a tire because it was flat and damaged, before they installed the new tire they would wire brush or grind down the rim and bead seal it just as a normal practice almost.

At one point or another all of my rims have had leakage and over the 10 years or so all the tires have been replaced and of course the rim leakage issues as well, so now all 4 are finally as they should be.
My buddy's shop did that for me when I got tires on the front of the GP. Wire wheeled the hell out of the bead. They were BAD.

And what did I do today? Well, I received this

Unlocked the GP to take out the impact wrench I didn't need to release the axle nut, and took it back to Home Depot. TOMORROW I might put some miles on the GP since it might rain and I'll garage the bike for a day.
