• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Took the impala into work to check out the oil leak. Believe it or not, the oil pan gasket is not leaking a single bit. 03 with 118k. But the oil pan is completely rusted out, so much on the right lower side that its leaking pretty good. Ordered a new Pan and gasket and hopefully will do it at work some time next week.
Oh and it slipped into first once on the way to work. Beat on it the next two lights. For one slip it gets two beatings, maybe it will learn its lesson lol. Time for a little more Lucas.
Also holding off on the oil change that's due obviously.

ebay hid's are always bluer than what you chose. Seems all cheap-o's are. Quality bulbs like what trs sells are the only ones that can get it right.

Messed with the retros some more, got the bulb alignment A TON better than it was even from 4ft the cutoff has more blue in it. I also got my yellow fogs in the mail. I'm happy with them.

Right side adjusted

Installed Monroe complete assemblies to replace 139K units. Pleasantly surprised at the difference. Also enlarged the bolt holes so I can align it to stop chewing up tires.

Took the rice car gtp out into the 1 inch of snow we currently have and managed to drift it completely sideways coming off a main street and turning into a neighborhood. Made for good fun.....it's times like this that I'm glad the traction control and abs are broken lol

Took the car to the shop for an oil change because it was raining and I might melt. Got home and tried to adjust the wipers that go too far, but only managed to chip the paint on my hood because I couldn't budge the arms after undoing the bolts. :-/

when it stops raining lol you can use a small 2 gear puller, or a hammer under the wiper arm, or try with the nut back on to protect the threads, tap the nut with a hammer, sometimes they will just shock free easy like.

just be careful you dont break the windshield. its like right there asking for a issue lol

Thinking my water pump is going out, its making a little noise similar to my moms car when hers was going bad and I smell coolant when I pop the hood. But I haven't investigated into it.

Put a new battery in the $475 Regal which was sold to a friend. Also changed a fuel injector that had gone bad (the car had been running like dog****).

Busted a civic on the test drive, but then broke the sunroof while trying to open it... it's at least in the shut position. The sunroof motor **** the bed.

I've had to fix like 10 window motors on these damn W-bodies so that's old hat... but any pointers for a sunroof motor?

This came in the mail today. Mostly to clean up my Tenzo's. I'm. Excited to see how well it works. Probably won't use it on the car until spring time comes around. And it's frozen solid... Because Michigan

Yea! I trust you guys:) I didn't get that other thing that you or another guy said because it was a little more costly so I will just stick to this and see how it works

Dropped my heads off @ machine shop, dropped oil pan off block and cleaned gasket surface! Stuck all new parts in zip locks w/oil for a soak. Annoyed now cause a week to wait for heads back and not much to do till then, lol.
