It's not really thinner if the weight and viscosity are the same..
A full syn oil is just far better in the way it can lube parts and has more cleaners, thats what takes away sludge and build up holding leaks back. Has better wear protection when engines are cold.
Not thinner or thicker. That's viscosity.
Flow rate on the other hand is increased with synthetic oils, which is key in helping with cold starts.

I used a pitman arm puller lol. Problem is the gearbox is right above the frame, and it has to be removed.they do make a puller that will fit with the gear box still bolted on. its called a pitman arm puller lol
That chit is thick and sticky!
