• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Grand Prix gxp seats are where its at. Comfort grip and style. The regal seats are very nice until you need to corner and are using your legs to brace yourself and keep your butt from sliding.

for hard lefts i put my elbow/forearm on the pass side seat as a brace lol right you just lay on the door.

Put on my 42.5 injectors, LS4 MAF, Overkill PCM, and 3.2 pulley. Runs nice, .1 to .5 KR at shift, 13.7 boost on aeroforce.
I want to thank everyone here for the advice I received on going to larger injectors and I want to thank Will@overkill for helping me out with the parts and tune.

Bought some car ramps off Craigslist last night. Figured I should have some in case I can't access a hoist when oil changes are needed.

Best part was that buddy wanted $25 for the ramps and an oil drain pan. I didn't want/need the pan, so I told him to keep it. He then asked if I wanted some oil. He had two 5 litre jugs (5 litre = just over 1 gallon) of 10w30, $10. I agreed to take them, but didn't have the correct change, so I gave him $40 (that means $15 for the oil) and told him I wanted the pan now. On my drive home I was not to happy with my purchase; thought I paid to much for the oil. When I got home, I looked and it turns out that the oil is full synthetic. Up here that oil can cost between $35-50 per jug.

Score!!

Installed 1.9 rockers and l76 spings, changed the oil and transmission fluid.
Plan to install the Gen V I have had sitting for 1 year next week.

Not to much. Went to the local dealer to look at some g35s. Thinking of getting one next summer. Car is Lovely but I'm not to familiar with the platform. Anything I should be looking out for when looking to buy one?

Id rock a G over a Z anyday these have started to drop quite a bit in price. The VQ makes some good NA hp and these sound awesome with exhaust mods.

I'd personally go a little newer and get the G37 over the 35, but I may be biased as I have been considering a 37 for a little while now.

And yeah I'd do the G over the Z too. The G still looks good but is a little more understated than the Z and isn't as likely to get as much attention from the po-po.

Yea the 37 is a bit more than what I wanted to spend but I'm still looking, I've seen some 35s go for like 9500 with less than 100k miles. The way I figure is to sell my prix and use my tax money and save up some money and put it all on the 35

as with any VQ35 or 37 engine watch out for the nylon timing tensioners that wear out at about 100k give or take. My brother in law's did not get noticeably bad until it hit 120k and engine lost noticeable power so he got rid of the car.
