well when it reads 14 mpg you get like 230 mile range on the dic. if i reset it on the highway, it doubles the range. cause the mpg more than doubled.
 
So had a little bit of craziness happen tonight. I went out for birthday dinner with the family and when I left I wasn't thinking right and ended up getting on the interstate going north instead of south. Normally not an issue except I had to drive 9 miles before the next exit. I was like whatever its the scenic route.

Well I am about 3 miles from the next exit and out of no where my headlights go out. Not fun when driving 75mph on a dark highway. I turn the foglight switch and fogs come on so I at least have those. I try to switch to high beams and I have those so I say eff it if I piss people off I need to be able to see.

I make it to the exit and get off and pull into a truck stop to check out to see if I blew a fuse or something. I try the switch again and the lows work again. dubya tee eff.

The only thing that could explain it at this point is either the switch is starting to go, or my mom who was riding with me said she was wiggling the phone charger in the outlet because it wasn't wanting to charge (my charger itself is a little touchy at times) and thats when it happened. I honestly don't see how that it related, but it is at least information that may help.

Its been like this for the past week every morning. I'm getting real tired of it lol. Makes me debate 3000k fogs but I don't wanna blind people anymore than i already do.

I'm parking way out in the boonies at work. Its a win win, car stays cleaner and corn cob dust free, and I have to walk a lot further.
 
I hit 173k miles last night. Only took 3 months to put the last 1k miles on it LOL If I had not driven it to Pittsburgh a few weeks back I would still be a few weeks out from hitting 173k. :p

Only put 3k miles on the car in 5 months. Will be doing an oil change next month regardless of mileage as it will be 6 months.
 


Never been in fog that thick ^

Unless you count artificial fog, in which I've been in where you can't see your hand in front of your face lol. It was on my sun porch in the middle of the day, so it was very bright, but if you put your hand 4 inches in front of you, you could not see it. Pretty cool to do once or twice
 
I hit some very thick fog last week. I was crossing a bridge over a valley and even though I knew the valley was there, I couldn't see it. I could barely see the barriers on the bridge.
