• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Someone tell Scotty I've joined the dark side.

2000 GS, 159k, runs and drives good. Hot heat and cold A/C. That's a good thing, because it has three broken window motors.

$475...

I may have found my winter beater.

not bad. looks like it needs them bumpers painted like the rest of em all.

is it blue? or black? the door looks blue, hood black lol

It's all blue

Guy ran 87 octane the whole time since 2003 when he bought it. When I did a WOT pull it had 10.5* of timing before KR kicked in and yanked some more. Doesn't burn oil or misfire, though, so I assume he never chipped a piston. Older guy, so I don't think he went WOT every often. A tank of 93 later and all is well.

I figure at the price I bought the car I could drive it to the junkyard and get my money back, if it goes bad somehow lol

sounds good. it would have misfires if it had chipped pistons. nice find. like you said, if it blows up its worth its weight in scrap lol

Next time (if there is one) check it at the EBTCM connector, no jacking up or anything.
I did thats how i found its the rear. But i completely forgot to check before i tore it apart again. So now im soldering a wire checking for resistance and repeat. Good news is i think the rear harness i can buy new and just plug it in its showing 0 so i assume broken wires again.

went to work for like a hour or so this morning. one of my old bosses went to the poky for a few months, so this woman driver hes got is new and wanted help dumping a load of wood in a drive way. and then the door on the box was a real pos so we had to work to shut it again.

so hands me 60 bucks , i go to hand 40 back, like this is to much, shes like, no, keep it, you have no idea how glad i am you came to help.

went and washed my car, parked it, took the pcm out, and re flashed it cause it needs a few more codes deleted. pcm is on my floor waiting to get put back in the car.

got to love the powered off board set up.

nope. i got a 01 in my 98 regal. this ones part # is to far apart from mine to work. a 2000 should be ok.

what i do is to flash your year bin to the pcm. then add the trans tune, delete codes if you want.

pcm only knows what you tell it.

Oh I gotcha. I might just have to take you. It would be nice to have a spare PCM that actually works, I have a 2000 GT PCM as a spare now that I was hoping to ship off and get tuned for my GTP.

we could work something out with your pcm you have. its just shipping it back and fourth thats gonna add up. its got to cost like 15 bucks each way.
