• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Don't coat it with any type of paint unless its por 15. Paint seems to just flake after a winter and not help anything. I'm gonna just coat my underbody with grease and call it done. It won't rust as long as grease is on it

I once met a guy who claimed he kept his brake lines from rusting by spraying PB Blaster on them periodically

Then just brush it on? It wont like trap salt In the rocker and really rust it will it? Thats what im most worried about.

Its probably possible lol. But its very thin, probably washes off easy. Grease is thick, same deal though. Metal will not rust when covered in grease and its easy and cheap

Russ, por 15 or nothing lol. Or grease.

Exactly what scotty said. I did the whole undercarriage of my GN in a quart of the stuff.

Leave er in the sun on a scorcher. Prep everything and when you're ready to go itll be nice and runny.

Wear gloves. It takes a good 5 days to wear off your hands.

it will seal what ever is there forever, rust dirt, you name it. its a air tight bond that will not come off. best to litly wire bushe any loose carp off, do not sand it clean, leave the rust, it bonds to it and seals it off from water and or air.

por was made to coat battery trays, its acid resistant and everything else resistant.

Grease sounds cheap, but I'll look into por 15 more. This last winter didn't even rust my rockers really just the RR fender is poop. Mostly because anytime it got above 32 I hit the touchless wash with an undercarriage wash. I'll have to examine the rockers next oil change and see what all it involves with little nooks and crannies.

Well, I was leaving work this afternoon and rear ended an older lady in a Galant. I'm fine but she had an ambulance come and take her to the hospital because her back was hurting.

Car is still drivable and I'm thankful for that. Could have been worse.

Heres my car before I cleaned all the broken bits of plastic and ****.

and after cleaning it up

I've come to the conclusion that I have an massive vacuum leak somewhere. Gas has been awful and check this out

Where to start looking for this leak?
