Careful, I've seen reman pumps just completely fall apart out of the box lolNoticed the new ps pump had a heck of a wobble.. it's making noise. It'll be swapped this weekend.
Yes, the coating will burn in a little on the bulbs after a hour or two of use then you will have your final color.Careful, I've seen reman pumps just completely fall apart out of the box lol
Probably finishing my retros as far as mounting the projectors. Not much more to go, just need to get the beam angle correct and wait for a day it doesn't rain to aim them.
The hid's do get slightly higher in the color temperature as they age, right? On first startup my 5000k's didn't look exactly pure white. Slightly towards 4300
Ps.. I like how I get more responses on a "got a bent ps pulley" than I did to "started the car w/o oil" from yesterday.
It's a 3800...oil is optional.
ASE is updated every 5 years, so at most the information is from 2009. That'd be up to date enough for me, Dex 6 was around then. That said I do agree it's a bit vague because it groups all of the ATF fluid temperatures together. The whole thing about trans operating temps isnt accurate IMO with the newer synthetic based Dex 6 its generally going to be at the same viscosity cold and hot.
Today I ran over a whole bunch of cow **** in the road from a farmer whos **** spreader was leaking. So I had to blast the wheel wells and rockers good again because the car smelled of ****. I need to find what to coat the rockers with for this winter. I was just gonna use a can of black spray paint.
I also picked up a TB gasket and some carb and choke cleaner for my moms car and oil and filter for the Avalanche.
