Sold the Olds today. Shame to see it go, that was the nicest W-body interior I've seen. But, a down payment on a house calls, so off it went.

New brakes today. So far so good.
 
did my U bend delete today. my old o2 would not move for crap. so no o2 bung installed. cel still aint on. thought that may have tripping it kinda quick being its not even there lol
 
Retorqued the sc bolts on the comp g then started right up. Now i'm letting the oil drain and will be putting new in soon then changing it again.
 


I need help with the Torque app on my phone. Anyone?

I have my obd in the imp and I have speed, oil pressure, coolant and trans temp dials up. All of them work and fluctuate with the car except trans temp....which is the one I want the most. It stays right at 32*. I've deleted and reset the dial and readded it and still no change. Am I doing something wrong? I can delete the profile and start over if I need to. I haven't played with it a whole lot, so not sure how it works. App is up to date as well, I checked.
 
theres more then one trans temp in the list, try the other one if you see it listed. only stuff high lighted green will work.

if your setting it up hooked up to the car will show the last value. thats the one you want. cause you can see it working live in the list.
 
I've tried both and they both do the same. Just stay right at 32. Maybe I'll just delete the car and try fresh. I think it's pulling info from the gp profile for some reason.
 


Drove truck to work, then to gas station and filled it with 28 gallons of fuel. Drove more to log data and stuff and went home.

Car sits on driveway, hoping soon that it goes to sit in my buddys back yard so I can get my driveway spot back.

torque wont read it because dont ss and gxp have different pcm for trans? at least for my buddies gxp i cant ever read it...it does the same thing.
 


I didn't think about that. It worked this morning a little better. Says it got up to 127*, its 50* outside and I had a 10 minute country driving commute.
Still doesn't seem to be real accurate. I'll have to dig into it more.

If not, you can e-mail Ian (Torque Developer) and he might be able to help. When I was having a lot of problems with Torque on my head unit I e-mailed him and he was able to fix it for the next release.
