• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Well. She's installed. New gasket and some rtv. Some new stainless bolts. Some swearing and drilling (rear bracket bolts snapped. I put new one in)

"new" res leaks. But not major. Will look into replacement next week.
Drivers side looks a little lower then pass. Might need new donuts all around.

Sitting on the side of the road right now... I was driving along at 10:45 so pitch black and my lights go out and my sub stops working... What the hell is going on... I've checked fuses and everutjing seems fine. My amp is in protection mode.

Alright yea it's problem bad grounds... It scared the living $hit out of me. A car pulled out in front of me. Because it didn't see me. And just kinda freaking out because my two favorite things on my car stopped working;) but it seems to all be working now

Been enjoying the new alum. coolant elbows that I installed last week. LIM one blew and pissed most of the coolant out right after I dropped my daughter off at the mother-in-laws house for the day. Was a great way to spend an extra 1 1/2 hours getting to work. Thank god my Crown Vic was sitting in the garage at home (thanks to mom for the ride back). After work I loaded it on my buddies trailer and off we went. Nice not having to pay for a 35 mile tow bill.

Tonight I did a pan drop/filter replacement/fluid change on the Vic. 14 quarts of Mercon V later it's back on the street. Luckily the old fluid was still nice and red and minimal clutch material on the magnet in the pan. Looked good for 151K miles and 40K since the last fluid change. Still need to check the drive belt or tensioner as it has started to squeal when it shifts from 2-3 if I stick it to the floor, lol... I think the belt is slipping around the alt. pulley on the shift. It doesn't shift like your grandpa's Vic even during normal driving. Gotta love the j-mod :th_winking:

Drove it to work. Today was my first day of driving a lot on the pregens....riddle me this.... I can turn sharp both directions going forward and not rub. I can turn the rear sharp to the right in reverse and not rub, but when I turn the rear sharp to the left in reverse, it rubs. I haven't had someone look while I do it so idk where its hung up at. I just thought it was weird that it only does it on one turning activity. Hmmm.

Alignment could be off a tad. You may have to roll the fenders since the offset is lower on these wheels.

Replaced broken bit of wire from my WSS, the harness dsmuts gave me would have worked if my car had a separate pigtail for it. It took me 3 hours. Freaking soldering iron is a POS, wouldn't get hot enough. Luckily my grandpa had one and its 40-50 years old LOL, lets see how long this repair lasts. I was about to say **** it lets break out the butt connectors.

Here is the wire that was chillin in the wire loom. Just broke in 2

Drove it 150 miles today for work. Went to Ohio and back twice. And filled it up with gas. This afternoon I made it sit in the driveway and watch while I clay barred Lee's Silverado. Tomorrow I'll make it watch while I polish it and detail the inside.

Hey, they don't leak yet, lol. I wait til something breaks, ***** about it, then fix it. Except for the transmission, I did that in my Civic, NOT fun. That's why I'm replacing this thing before it leaves me stranded.

Yay my ABS light is on again, its probably my ****ty ass solder job or another bit of wire broke. Oh well I'll worry about it another day. Weird I can turn the car on then off then on again and it went away meh.
