only 4 days later, but that's the one I have on my GXP. it's been great so far. Temps average 180 ish...Got the cooler in the mail today but it seems there was a mixup in the order and I got the 1401 instead of the 1404 will it still work Or should I return it? I'm getting trans temps of 228

Read what the code is for.
It's just a slow switch response code, does not affect anything. It will likely go away after a while, it's super common after installing headers on a car. I used to get it alot for about 1-2 months then it's never come back and I didnt tune it out, I run a new denso sensor aswell.

I reset the code and it hasn't come back. Today has just been a very patience testing day.

it does seem to be a long time since you lost that wheel. it just takes time for what you want to pop up sometimes, and for the right price.

The tire shop I go to for quick stuff has a chrome looking Pontiac wheel (not like stealthee's), I think its a 17"er with tire. Somebody left it there and they kind of try to give it to me every time I go up there lol. I'd get a pic to see if anybody needs it but hell nobody here is close by.
I did bring my primered roof rails home from work so I can tackle cleaning off two layers of tape plus glue. And my friend told me today he shipped tails to me via UPS so Monday maybe. That will make my GTP fairly fresh looking except for the little dents and paint issues. The whole thing needs painted but its so not worth it if I get wrecked again soon. What occurred to me was that if i'm gonna paint that thing all over, I sure as hell ought to get enough black to paint the '69 GP too. Wishful dreams...
Oh- I "whined" at a red '64 GTO rag this evening but no response. Dang, I was wanting to go 389 vs 3800. But he had his ol lady with, prolly knew he might get stomped lol. Poor timing, shoulda had Grape instead. I did drive Grape to work today. Funny- I always like to announce my approach with a screaming run thru the gears as I get near the shop... so I did this morning and woops tossed in neutral like a goof. No over-rev, I wasn't that goofy but still- thats the hazards of your Grand prixs being 30 years apart- I thought I had another gear.

time to get a spair
I do have a spare, and I have been running a 15" steel wheel that I had winter treads on that I purchased for my Stealth before I parked it, instead of using the donut.
I may take my bent/busted wheel to my buddy and let him fix it for me as a full size spare. The tire is still good, but it has a small hole in the sidewall. May see if he can throw a patch on the inside so I can at least use that as a spare too. It's not something I really would consider long term though.
