Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

but it wont take it off is what im saying. nothing comes off by just rinsing it off, you need to touch the paint to make dust come off. like soap and a mitt. and then dry it or it will still look dirty.

you house location is a huge problem for you i see. where it maybe nice to live in a quiet area like that, but damn those dirt roads suck.

changed oil, put in a new hub in the front left and it still shoots out the abs light and T/C off.. so i think it might be the front right HUB. I have the neg. off the battery right now to see if the system just needs a reset. we'll see though.

also.. fixed my switchback light. through in a new resistor from DD and the wires broke so i got the ole soldering gun out and soldered the resistors in there with the wires and then put heat shrink tubing over it.. should last for a long time. my advice to people who want to put in switchbacks is that solder them right away.. don't use the POS clips they give you.
just wish that HUB would figure its **** out... i'm going to replace the right side because it might be that cause i doubt it hasn't been changed for the life of the car.. if its still not cured.. then its probably a wiring problem that i'll get into when that time comes if it does.

that sucks, battery unhooked wont clear it, its pass or fail as you drive off or fire it up.

good news is my hub changed seems to have cleared up my issues. all but a bout 3 hours after i changed it, i went to the rehab my mom is in, like a fool used the free valet parking. same kid who took it from me picked it up, i notice hes driving at a snails passe and then gets to me finally and see the dash lit up like a x mass tree. as im getting into a car he just dragged to me cause the brakes were locked up when it fails sometimes and hes looking for a tip, go F your self kid. you were within shouting distant like 50 feet away, sir! your car wont roll. nothing. so he got nothing but a see ya.

good thing is i turned it off and re started it up and it drove off fine and the light has not come back on since. (3 days deep and counting) and ive tried to get to to go off, a few hard stops, start it roll a bit, pass the self test, turn it off do it over and over, it keeps passing. so far, so good.

id love to know wtf that dumb kid did to my car tho.

Finished the motor swap on the GP by hooking things back up at the top. Started right up and ran great. Then replaced the heater core....man I have a headache from that. Got it done though.

Had someone stop me at the gas station and ask if the prix was mine.....yes? They wanted to know all about my window tint and where I got it done.

Looked at my car today and realized something terrible.. My clear coat is starting to fade ever so slightly in the common areas on the front and rear bumpers.. :( Any tips to help preserve what little clear I have left? Or any tips to fix it? I'm sure my fellow Regal owner Scotty will chime in somewhere :)

is it white yet? like you can scrape it off with your nail?

just hitting it with clear cat can make it look better, but if the paints gone, its gone.

take the headlights off, and the grill again, and hit it with some clear coat. it will make it shine again.depending on how it looks dry you may or may not want/need to wet sand and buff it out.

That's what I was thinking but I wasn't entirely sure. I'm gonna try to get it done before the big meet next weekend. Could I do pretty much the same for the rear?
