• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Fill it up with 11 gallons of 91 and averaged 28 MPG I think leaving the batt cable off for an hour helped my MPG or something, was pulling constant 26. For 4 bucks a gallon. Freaking MI is going to jack up gas tax because the roads suck so they can fix them. Testing 91 to see if it kills my up to 10* of N/A knock and lots of part throttle KR. But I think this sunoco has **** gas is the problem.

I pull 24 lol
Drove to work and hammered on it to get rid of some of the carbon and since it was around 57 degrees out cooler air made that intake sound better :)

Lee got the 95 home....its a piece of crap. Wow. Every interior piece of trim, handle and seat is broken or just plain worn out. Neither of the doors open from the outside, so windows are down to allow opening from the inside....which even then is iffy. I didn't realize it was soooo rough when we looked at it. I knew it was bad but man....

I almost felt ashamed backing it out of the garage for a picture. Then I realized it was leaking really bad so back inside on the cardboard it went.

But here's a pic

You guys know gas is less expensive in the states then in Canada. I just paid $1.469/liter whatever that works out to in gallons.

Changed the pads, rotors, and wheel bearings in the crapiece. That made a huge difference in how the car feels. Had jonny port my heads while i was doing that and I found a mouse in between the rotor and caliper. It was awesome.

I took a break from cleaning trim to see what could be done with just a rag and soapy water on the pregens. They are about as rough as the rest of the car. Only one has chipped paint. One has been curbed all the way around, and looks to have been cleaned with a wire brush as its got pretty decent scratches all over it. They need more heavy duty cleaning but might look ok for some fun wheels.
My torque stars are in far better condition tho. Buuuuutttttt pregens.....

^ they all have that rust looking stain in the corners. Hopefully some wheel cleaner will take care of that.

Then this wheel is covered in grease/oil between the spokes

I know. The thought crossed my mind. I don't wanna wrap a lot of money into them tho. I'll see what they look like when I get them off the car and cleaned up. Which may be awhile :'(

If I did sand blast them....I'd have a real hard time picking a color to powder them in. Car wont ever get lowered so its not worth having crazy colored ones.

Don't the auto stores sell wheel spray paint? Thinking I could at least try and bandaid that one spot. I think a wheel weight caused it.

Oh and I used money I had saved for a car to pay off a medical bill I had. And I can't convince myself that I want a car payment......so GP is staying around.
