What did you do to your Car today?

We started at about 2:30, stopped to eat, then the motor was out about 6:30. I broke nothing surprisingly and I didn't cut myself or anything. It's been a weird ass day for me.

Woah.. did Capn' Kill it all pull a motor in 4 hours? That's pretty good time for a first timer. Congrats man! Or .. were you at Slutty Smutty's and he was directing? I think I see his kids pool in a picture.

I worked on what I should have been doing for a long time running. Made great progress while someone ripped his drivetrain out in the other bay. That's when the fun began. Armpit deep in a transmission and starting to take apart a perfectly good motor. Think the only thing left is a couple of gaskets an the next issue will be that the tools I have can't program an 06.

In the course of the day, had a couple tires mounted and balanced (Sat) and on Sun Kyle gave me a hand tossing them onto the car. Which...I'm fairly sure I convinced him and Samm that Fbodies are the way to go for brakes. :th_laugh-lol3:

Amazing isn't it? I didn't even break anything. Paul tried to call Dan once but since he didn't answer the first time I figured it out myself. I must say though, your write up helped a lot. Now we have to pull the motor in his regal and drop it into the Grand Prix.

Hit a pot hole so big the ABS came on while braking, also I think I have a slight rod knock in the motor. Hasn't gotten worse but if it does, I'm gonna find a Low mile L67/L32 and maybe HD trans for if mine goes boom.

Wish I just took my motor out to do the cam swap...pretty sure it would have been faster and easier...hand still hurts from that dam cradle

Cleaned the IAC see if it solves my problem, if not the TB is coming off again for super cleaning.
