• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Painted the center console/bezel with metal flake steel paint. Pictures don't do it justice. Also replaced the crappy ac knobs with G6 knobs. They're almost a direct swap, just had to trim the clear plastic projection on the back a bit.

You clear coat it? The metal flake won't last long unless you do.

found some shade and used a black box wax kit to wax the regal. i must say for all hand work thats a damn good product, you see scratches go away right in front of your eyes lol, took all the swirl marks off too. all by hand, no buffer was used.

Ah the miracle of fillers :th_thumbsup-wink:. It does look good. You should pick up the new turtle wax jet black endura shine tire coat. You will like it.

I have a set of L32's in the garage. They're at napa now getting checked over.

I did a LIM job on a guys gpgt Dad'll be over in about an hour to do the carrier bearing on his truck.

Dan.....I went to take a part today. They actually had a 04+ this time. It even had black leather, but it was trashed pretty bad and missing head rests and torn. I almost texted you but figured they were in to bad of shape.

I did notice that the arm rest was gone on that one. It was the first one I've ever seen there. If I go back and you don't find one I'll see what I can find.

You can definitely tell why most of the 3800s were there....lots of engine fires it appeared.

changed a water pump in a 02 Chevy van today, after the air filter, coolant tank maf tube and upper fan shroud's removed its not all that bad to do lol

getting the fan off was the worst part with out the right tools, tried to hammer a wrench on the nut but all it did was spin the pulley, so it took 4 parts stores to find a removal tool, guy says those come off real easy with a air hammer, yeah no kidding, if i had air tools would i be here?

got lucky and the part that held the 4 bolts fit, then smashed it loose with a hammer. gravy after that.

then changed its fuel filter, clips on both sides, what a treat. no rusted line nuts to deal with.
