• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

My 3800 is a very interesting sounding engine, it makes all sorts of sounds depending on what rpm you're at. All are normal sounds though it seems, kinda like a whistling

You can hear it in my other noise video at 1:22 https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=JTBMx-kVZSI

that video was for a wheel bearing noise but later I noticed my 3800 makes a whisting noise sometimes too, usually when it's below freezing. I just assume it's sounds coming from the exhaust system.

Cleaned the throttle body along with the amsoil dry filter I have in my SLP CAI. While I was cleaning out my air filter I decided to polish out the chrome end cap using mothers chrome polish. Nobody will see it but I know it is cleaned up :th_thumbsup-wink:.

Paul from PRJ came out to the house to help tie up a few loose ends. We did the HV3 insert to the upper intake and cleaned up a few more odds and ends.

I tried.
first paint went sour after a year and I used RTV last time to help secure after damaged clip scenario.
Hopefully after primer/lottsa paint& clear coats they will last for awhile.

picked up a HF orbital buffer today. girl at the register either liked me, or f ed up and failed to scan one of the pads. score either way.

one more day and the sale is over kids. there were only 3 left on the shelf, now 2 left.

if you got a pc already your set.

ive used a PC before, this HF model is very much like the PC. sounds the same, looks and feels about the same too. cant wait to use it.

my back bumper will be the first job, i painted it last fall, but never wet sanded it, or buffed it out. so lets hope by next weekend i can get that done with.

the da of course. its the one thats normally 130, on sale for 65.

this one. http://www.harborfreight.com/power-...ariable-speed-dual-action-polisher-69924.html

Yeah, I went n bought one. Used 25% off coupon n got it for 53 after tax. About this da tho, I've seen it chews up pads quick. So either get a 5" backing pad, or take a razor blade n cut an inch or so off the outside of the velcro. It digs into the pad if you're applying a little pressure n bites into the pads n destroys them quicker.
