What did you do to your Car today?

nice to see some one lower then my 12 to 14 avg.

It's gone downhill all winter as it's been so cold here. Havent had more than 1-2 days at a time of avg temps, been 15-25+ degrees below avg for weeks here. Thus causing my mpgs to creep lower.

Past 4 tanks have been like 13, 11, 10.2 and 8.2. 98% city with being warmed up everyday for 5-10 min atleast. Good thing it takes me over 2 weeks to burn a tank up.

Yeah it's not as bad as people think when they see how bad the mileage is, compared to them driving a lot that mileage would be horrible. But filling up much less it looks a little better. I may be getting about 13.5 mpg's, but I'm only filling the tank monthly.

In the same boat only like 1 mile or so to work. Letting the car warm till I near 160 some. helped with mpgs. My gauge rarely sees the 1/4 mark. In the winter. I fill up after about 10 gallons.

Shoveled it out of its show cocoon. Ice is on the tires and whole left side of the car. Snow plow packed snow into the exhaust, wheels everywhere.

Once I got the drive shoveled for wheel tracks, took it to work.

Pretty pathedic when the warehouse guys with 4wheel drives cant make it, but I did fine in my 2 whrel drive car.
KC told them the excuses were invalid since I made it in, haha.

The gp is a snow plowing beast.

I love it when that happens ^ Gp's doing better than trucks.

Parked it in the street so I could snowblow the driveway after school. This is a far as it would go (no running start, just inching my way to this point since 5 inches behind my phone is our truck), the snow is halfway up the wheel on the right side. Still didn't get stuck though, I backed it up and pulled it back in the drive.

I've never had snow tires either it have good All seasons but I'd like to do it just to do it one winter especially if I have a second set of rims by that time may as well

Yeah me either. Our impala always did good in the snow, I thought it was the winter tires but mine with bald all seasons did good too lol. Got new all seasons now which was needed badly, they do even better than with the old ones. When I was about to leave school it was coming down pretty bad and the whole parking lot had a good 4 inches, and around my car was like 6 or 7 from drifts. A kid in a rwd older car was just spinning his tires and barely got to 5mph in like 20 seconds. Then I go next and get right up to normal speed in seconds.

I never had snow tires until this year when I purchased an extra set of GXP wheels so i could have 8" all the way around. The second set came with blizzaks and man I'm impressed.
