• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Sorry to hear that man :(
Had a hell of a day today. Drove all the way to perrysburg, OH to get my buddies Regal out of the tow yard (he was heading to michigan when all the studs on his driver side front wheel broke and the wheel came off) we punched some new studs in and managed to get it all the way back down to my garage in Lebanon where it'll sit until it gets a new shell to transfer the drivetrain into this weekend. We made a ton of good highway pulls on the way back and I must say, I HATE the limiter at 106 on these Regals.. So to sour up a good day at 7:15pm I lost a close family member.. I just can't seem to get a streak of good things without one big bad thing happening..

Thanks for the info Scotty. I printed this out because I won't try anything for a week or so. The temp last nite was 16 and I'm not as energetic as I used to be.

you'll want to wait till the temps are up to at least 67 to 70. unless you have a heated garage. i dont so my front bumper is on the wait list right now.

Put a new tensioner on her today, bought the one off of a 99 Camaro so I can retain both coolant elbows with my cs144 alternator. So far, no more squeak, at all. I'm a happy camper for now, lol.

Gassed up the fuel sucking pig. Enjoyed the heated seat. Then realized a turn signal bulb was out. Of course the replacement bulb isn't in my toolbox. Juicy.

Yeah it just might. Any chance you could grab the sercive number off the pcm itself? Youll be at this meet on the 15th right?

Yep it's at home on my parts shelf along with a couple other odds and ends. IIRC the service number is on a sticker attached to the PCM

Brushed the snow off, drove it to work again today. I think it's officially out of hibernation now. Truck is going up for sale. It's going to take more money to correct it to what I want it to be so it's leaving and I will come across something this summer when truck's are cheap.

Last question. Did you have to do anything special like reprogramming or did it just kill the light upon plug I g in?

Thanks

that module you un lock the clip, un plug it, then put the new on in its place, hell i didnt even unhook the battery when i did mine.

if the steering wheel radio buttons or their lights are all out it could be the clock spring went bad.

haven't driven the gxp in almost a week... just got back from FLA.. and saw maybe 6 GP's down there... no one drives them.. why?! got sun burned as FUk too
As a FL person this is true, no one drives gps down here. When I see a gp its always the usual ones I see around

Just plug it in and go. Easy peasy

Thanks guys. Maybe I will put up a wanted ad looking for one.

And lights on the steering wheel are good. I have suspected the ABS module as the light for awhile now.
