• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Drove to school and back, got gas, put in 15 gallons. Then I went home and warmed up my bottle of Lucas p/s stop leak so I could pour it in. I filled the reservoir from the point it didn't mark the dipstick, to the full hot line. Then I let it run for a bit and turned the wheel back and forth a few times to get it in the system.

Also either I made a mistake or something's up, my calculations were that I went 417 miles on the last tank of gas, I'll have to go out and check again because that has to be wrong, that would mean 27.8 mpg.

Well the mistake would have been me reading the current mileage wrong(this time or maybe last, not likely last since that one and the previous were normal), I type it in and excel did the math, which is correct. I just kept repeating it in my head til I got to the computer, I'll run out again.

Edit: found out why, I didn't enter my last one. They're all nearly identical it's easy to miss. It's 203 miles per the last tank, averaging 13.5 mpg. Almost tied with my lowest from last year.

My last tank averaged 26.3 mpg. My commute is all highway. I've had the Regal for three weeks now and have put 2,800 miles on it.. It had 97k when I bought it, I'll hit 100k probably Thursday.

Dang. I've had my car 1 year and 4 months, and I've only put 4k miles on it. You put almost 3k on it in 3 weeks lol. Well a regal is a better car to drive a lot and long distances, compared to a GP. More comfortable that is, smoother ride too I'm sure.

If you drive normal they're pretty good on gas given the engine size and the year it was made. Well up until the 3.8 started becoming outdated. I get 17 in the summer with all short trips and mostly city.

I keep the roads hot. But all this traveling has just proved to me how solid this car really is. I love how comfortable it is and how nice it rides too. Way better than my old GTP.

ATTEMPTED to flip my dog bones without WD-40 (Too lazy to go 5 miles to the gas station) I ended up going anyway after trying and failing for 10-15 minutes. Job well done now!
