• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Mine is standing in a bunch of water.

I'll really have wet feet trying to get in it. Lovely

That water was very cold and my feet and jeans are soaked. The back wheel, water was up and over the rim. Not fun.
I had to hang my legs out of the door to let the water run out. Thank god I have a rubber floor mat and not just the stock one.

wow that sucks. not a guy with boots to be found to pull it out to dry ground i guess. some days.....

started to dig into my friends work trucks grinding sounds from the left rear tire area. turns out the the last brake job i did 2 years ago, all new everything, the inside pad ate its self and was metal to metal. brake pads still have over 1/2 life too.

so took the other side off to check, and that rotor was also grooved up but had both pads still, took both rear rotors off. (its fun on a full floating rear end) got them cut picked up new 90 dollar napa heavy duty brake pads. it gets put back together tomorrow.

then to do a oil change on it, for some reason the oil filter decided to leak while its been sitting for the last few months. and a line up front is leaking, that also needs to be looked at/fixed.

then after thats done, yes theres more, lol. 2 exhaust manifold bolts head snapped off for no reason. and a nice leak at the head now. so needless to say, that manifold is coming off and all the bolts are getting changed to studs more then likely. lucky for me, the shaft of the bolts are sicking out almost to the edge of the manifold, they should just come out. now to hope the lower manifold bolts break free, and dont snap off or worse.

Only moved it to clear off the passenger side since the snow is like 3 feet tall on the lawn. There was a layer of ice followed by snow, so I scraped all the ice off the windows and also cleared the street. The snow on the lawn near the driveway stands as tall as the bottom of the windshield

I bought it 250ft of various oem wire, pin-out tools, some more butane for my soldering iron, and a bunch of braided sleeving. Time for more headaches

Ordered some stuff for install.

Then decide if the 20" body glasspack I already have is enough or if I need to get the 26" or 30" body. Depending I may get the IMCO factory replacement resonator.

Lucky snow, we got rain. least the car got washed

Drove it around in the warm sunny weather today. Rolled all the windows down and opened up the sunroof and enjoyed it. Snow come back tomorrow.. I also watched the temp gauge go all the way up to 212 quite a few times.. Stupid stock tune. Time for a coolant flush, 180tstat, and a tune.

Nice. I am a huge borla van and love their sound. When I put my headers and all on when I get back I'm going with borla

Shoot, the snow banks at the end of our driveway are well over my car, like 4.5 feet high atleast. Can't even see the street backing out, I have to knock them down tomorrow.

Drove over some railroad tracks and ripped exhaust off. It's a crumpled mess. Messed my bumper up too and tore my wb out

Damn, that sucks. How low are you, and where did the tracks grab on the exhaust. Cause when I did 110 over the local tracks I made it. (lowered with speed-daddys)
