• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Eddie, your car looks amazing! I really like those wheels. It pulls them off well, IMO.

Me...I've been to busy to give 2 poops about the car other than putting gas in it. It's 1,200 over an oil change. My bad.
I planned to get the oil pan gasket changed and didn't want to waste a oil change on that. Hopefully in the next 2 weeks I can get something planned to get it in to the shop.

Question, my oil pan is dented a tiny tiny bit....the dealership seemed to think that would/was causing issues with the leak and quoted a new pan way back when I first got the car.
3 years later, its no worse for wear that I can tell. For a 14 yr old car, I'm sure that it's loosing oil other places too.
Is it suggested that I get a new pan or is the old one ok? I think I can try and get a picture of it if it will even show up, not sure tho.

Could just be the gasket but its better to take the car to the shop and get it replace since its a pain in the ass to replace.

It is the gasket for sure...and I have to take it to a shop. No where inside to get it on a lift and I'm sure as heck not doing it. I think the dealership was just trying to upsell a new pan, those suckers are expensive too.
I'm cool with replacing the pan if a dent is really going to affect things. It was on the bottom front edge if I remember right, I'd have to crawl under to make sure.

I had plenty of dents on my last pan and had no leaks. I wish I kept that pan instead of this cast aluminum pan, stuff is real brittle under an impact

I went to a place called bids today to get some parts for a leaf blower I'm fixing for family. The guy there saw me pull up in my GP, and mentioned he's got a 97 GTP and we got into talking about them. He really likes his GP but has to get a truck for work, he's had it two years and all it's needed was a fuel pump and struts, and he put on a ton of miles. He put headers and MSD wires on it, and a 1 gauge pillar pod I assume for a boost gauge. Stock pulley though. It's got some fading and gas door rust, pretty typical. I was wondering if he was a member here, but he said he wasn't part of any forums.

Also I ordered a new fuel pressure regulator since the vacuum line on it always has a gas smell, meaning the diaphragm must be slightly seeping. It's part of my operation make sure my engine doesn't blow up or catch on fire. Anyone know what O-rings I need to fix the fuel line to fuel rail leak issue? I moved the line around once and some fuel leaked out before  Doesn't leak if left alone.

Thank you! They are the wheels off of my Mustang, its an older pic. My car has the special edition wheels on it right now and is dirty as hell, I havent washed it in over a month. And I hear ya on the oil change, I gotta get around to it too, maybe this weekend.

Up in Michigan there is probably a ton of people with GP's because ZZP is up there, down here there are very few
