• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

140,000 young right? With the added stress of 24 in rims and a heavy foot an early trans death is totally expected

Well I don't feel bad for the guy anymore lol he should of knew a pan drop wasn't going to fix those issues. At least he made it that far and maybe he"ll downsize the bling bling

Yup, I told him and I tell all my bling bling friends. These transmissions are already fragile. With the added weight and stress all your doing its cutting the life of the trans short.

Was it even drivable at that point? And what is that metal actually coming from? Is that like, chunks of teeth from a gear set or something?

Actually we drove it quite a bit trying to diagnose it. I would imagine those chunks are from the gears grinding.

Re: What did you do to your Grand Prix today?

Replaced right tail light. Changed the heater hoses. Put in Engine coolant and wiper fluid.
Next on the list is new mufflers and rear wheel bearing and then I'll be happy.:th_thumb-up:

Finally sat down and looked at the oil catch can I got off ebay. Its not the one I ordered. Not even close. Different design, different color. Also its missing hardware and there are chips in the paint. I think I mentioned before it reeks of gasoline and oil. Think I, gonna have to send this back.

Pics, and it sounds like u bought a used one regardless of smell as long as there two fittings you're good

I removed bumper cover, front fascia, side skirts, removed trunk lid, dropped the exhaust, pulled the rusted out mess that was the rear bumper, and started to remove the rot from our my pinch welds and quarter panels.... My poor poor car.
