Sounds like you need to install a braided heater hose that's meant for pressure.

just got the 2 OEM replacements. I just cut the hole off and re attached for now. will do for the next one plus it'll look purdy

Looks like we did a bit of the same thing today Dan. And we've been running straight water in the Eldo for months since the radiators busted. Coolant will go in with the new radiator though finally.

Realized I'm tired of messing with it and parked it in the back yard. I daily my 00 Lincoln LS now...screw the GP. Might do a large install in it one day, but for now it's a lawn ornament. Oh, it's also parts for my woman's 01 Lesabre.

Took the crossover off and tried sealing it. But it was WAY TOO COLD OUT. I got too frustrated and pushed it out into the yard.

Fuel pump finally shipped and replaced. I specifically got the drop-in fuel pump so I wouldn't have to crimp any wires - I got the regular pump anyway. Oh well, the GP is back on the road, no longer stranded at Kroger's.

Well finally found the leak in my rear tire. Its a pin hole leak on the outside wall so I couldn't repair it. And neither can dealer so I'm tossing a new tire on cause pumping tire up daily is boring. At least its much cheaper than the front tires. Only 120 for the tire plus 30 minutes labor
