• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

I need to look into getting the oil pan gasket fixed before I'm banned from parking in the new house's driveway or garage. I refuse to park on the street. Drove it when we went to look at the house and the car left piddle spots, no longer than we were there I wasn't very happy about it.

And does anyone know who on here was making the retro headlights? Or if they still are anymore? I thought there was someone recently who was doing them.

hmm well i put it on a lift then put a new wheel bearing on the driver rear timek, new alternator, new powersteering pump bent the pully getting it off the ps pump had to get a new one the hard part is putting a pully on without a press. removed those noisy e-brakes, and last but not least i put on the tubular trailing arms, heads up on the trialing arms your gona need heat, a really big breaker bar and a really strong friend.

theres a tool its called a GM p/s pulley puller, its for sale or can be rented, works like a charm. it takes it off, and puts it back on the shaft.

Well I went to pep boys and got a pack Of like 15 in 3 different sizes, but there all hard plastic... So they aren't working

you cut a piece of vac tubing, like a inch and a 1/2 long, put it on the T. like in the my pic of the fpr with the t on it.

If you are oddly weird about stuff like I am, you can still be the OEM line and fittings. It was like $30. Scotty's fix works just as well if not better as parts are easily found on the shelf, but, I have this obsessive compulsive issue that sometimes cost me more money than necessary.

vac tubing is cheap as hell, less then a dollar a foot, i got the 2 T's in one pack for 2 bucks and 3 feet of tubing all for 5 bucks.

the nipple under the snout is fatter then the fpr nipple, i had to spit on the nipple and inside the vac tube to get it on but it went on.

drove it hung over as hell with my gf to the 'famous' mall of America today to try and find some jeans for a guy (me) and came up empty... damn stores can't carry a size for a guy thats big and tall...

Tucked my spark plug wires so no more obstruction on the blower, looks cleaner now. Also did a couple pulls since it feels nice n cool out with 0 humidity, love it.

Still getting 3.2* of KR after LIM job.

Found my RTV "gasket" decided to blow apart, opening an exhaust leak between headers and downpipe. New gasket is on order prolly tonorrow.

And my SC coupler is rattling like a bat outta hell. I just replaced it three months ago with a cheesy looking Dorman "OEM spec" coupler. That was a mistake. New ZZP one on order soon.
