• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Debadged the sides. Still debating the trunk debadge. Gave it a bath and a nice wax. Installed Pina Colada little trees, yum.

Yeah, It sits in a dust bowl for 9 hours a day. With harvest and shelling going on, there is tons of dust a debri that gets on the car and gravel parking lot doesn't help either. I've been needing to put that filter in. I should have done it with I did the cowl deflector.
I'll attempt it in a few weekends when I'm off again.
I had bought the water deflector and was about to put it in but waited until I got the filter in the mail.

Yeah you definatly won't regret it. I did it just because I've seen how much they capture after a few years, plus it will keep the inside cleaner over time even in normal driving conditions. The only time I drive through dust is in the never-ending Michigan roadwork.

Installed ceramic pads all the way around!

Then after I lowered the car and went to started it would click and not start. So I pop the hood, (keys were stuck in the ignition) move the positive battery cable slightly to one side and bam all the lights come on and start dinging. So I hold it and place and let my brother start and wala, presto, shazam it works. But I have to do that almost everytime I need to start it......so is it just a bad connection? I'll probably go ahead and mess with it tomorrow during lunch (torrential down pour happening right now).

i was thinking about doing it before winter... i figured i live in michigan and my car is going to be covered in salt for 11 months or so.. haha so why not protect the paint?

I did an hour or so of driving in this heat, I thought for sure I'd notice my trans pressure drop, it always does in these temps on longer drives. To my surprise it was actually performing really well. Then it hit me, I used the A/C which means the fans were on the whole time..that explains it. I was curious how much air those fans pull in since they made quite the difference, so I left it running with the A/C on when I got home. Man those fans pull a lot of air, I felt for the spot on the condenser that pulled the most air and it's right where I'm planning on re-mounting my independent trans cooler, so that should help even more.

Registered, insured and transferred plates to put the (3rd) GP that I was gonna part out (after keeping what I want) back on the road... Lol!

oh and got pulled over today too... O.o
no ticket though :D
