I get about 16-17mpg in the summer, and about 13.5-14mpg in the winter. All city and short trips, pretty light on the pedal. Why are your numbers lower? I assume if you don't go in boost ranges the supercharger doesn't impact the mileage much?
 


the avg speed limit here is 25 mpg, lots of stop lights, and stop signs. and a few large steep hills. it all adds up to poor city mpg.

if you hear the sc whine, your using more gas, so yeah, i do tend to stay out of boost as much as possible. ill goose it to pass from time to time, or beat some one from a red light. but thats about it.

the regal has numeric boost gauge, around town ill see up to 1 psi, at say less then 1/4 throttle. up to 7.5 wot, but it wont hit that high till the shift point.

if your light on the gas it reads 0 around town, or the highway.
 
Interesting. And yeah 25 mph is not good for mileage at all. The average speed limit around my area is 40 mph with stop lights every half mile. Some roads like the one I take to work are timed precisely to keep traffic flowing well. So if you get stopped at one, you get in the right time with the lights and can go miles without being stopped, as long as traffic isn't heavy.
 
Worked on my wife's Acadia thinking I'd find something like that because of the noise. I found nothing.

Fixed the other brake line that blew out on my van. Started to bleed the brakes and it blew out about 3" from where I spliced it. So looks like I'll finish it tom.

If I hadn't of noticed the hood flexing WAY more than it should, I may have been in a much worse scenario. I didn't notice any noises until the day I fixed it, which was 3 days later.

The best part was that I noticed this problem Wednesday evening on the way home, so I put insurance on my truck so I could drive it for the next week, and it wouldn't start. Forced me to drive the GP to work one more day; very un-nerving when you know the problem is there but have to drive the car anyways. I got the truck running the next day, so it all worked out in the end.

Never been so impressed with a head unit.

Rear view cam, iPhone app compatibility, music videos, hd radio, bluetooth, fully customizable color schemes/backgrounds... I think im in love
 


found a broken rubber exhaust hanger by the cat. and it looks like the add a hanger in the back has fallen out of place, i guess i get to fix all that tomorrow now.

i hit a dip in the road and bottomed the exhaust out a bit, a nice sounding scrape. i cant have that going on......
 
Finally fixed the brakes on my van then took it to the gas station put $10 in it and the low fuel light was still on lol. Then I put new headlights on the comp g and fixed an exhaust hanger that popped loose.
 


Drove a total of about 300 miles today, which averaged 5 hours. Not all of it was in my car, most of them were in company cars - A F-350 Diesel Dually, and a Pontiac Montana. Man are my eyes tired, I'm not used to driving that much. I average 3,500 miles a year on my GP as of now.

Also experienced what I believe is a bad torque converter clutch solenoid on that montana with the 4T65E. When downshifting (unlocking torque converter), the rpms jump up and down pretty fast for a bit til I let off.
 
when the hangers are not broken, it never hits, this was a first for me. it hit 3 times on the way home, i was like i need to check this out asap lol

didn't take more then 2 seconds to see the problem, all very fixable for next to nothing. the cost of one rubber round ring hanger.
