Drove it around town this evening. Drove fine, until I stopped for 3 minutes. After that, I drove to my girlsfriends house, but barely made it there. Tranny just started slipping really bad out of nowhere. Just bought this damn thing because the Comp G's engine is no good. Transmission was replaced with a new one 28k ago and had a cooler installed. Anyone know the cost to rebuild or replace at a shop?
 
full body wash and wax in store for it tomorrow i'm thinking.. got some UC for the 2 little scratches i got on it.. see how that works out... need to do a coolent flush pretty quick here too.

Full rebuild at a shop is easily 2k.

The person i bought my car off of (my uncle) had my gtp transmission rebuilt for 1,750 .. So somewhere in that range
 
Noticed someone egged my car, whoever did it failed and barely got my rear bumper. Not too mad because it didn't leave very big or many spots in the paint, and I was already planning to respray both of my bumpers this winter since I have a winter dd for this year.

So my dorman uim kit came with a new egr stovepipe, which doesnt fit the lim... Awesome. Now i gotta try to find another one before i can put the lim back on.

A little update, checked the fluid and there wasnt any. I found it going from my driveway to up the street. it all leaked out pretty fast.
 
Bought 2 new relays for the cooling fan.
They still don't turn on 220f

yeah the sensor is whats called a "thermister" it senses the heat essentially and turns on the call for the fans, if it isnt closing properly at temps anyore etc then that could be an issue. with car off, unplug the sensor, car on, fans should come on instantly regardless of temp.
