You being n/a and reaching that coolant temp seems odd hottest my Gxp gets in Arizona summer with a/c and stock thermostat is 210 max my gtp had a 180* and a Zzp tune so I never saw over 190ish
 
Replace thermostat and make sure the coolant is topped up and bled. The fans should have been on is it was at 220. If that doesnt help, make sure the coolant is flowing properly. Some can feel the difference in lower/upper rad temps but of course once it's completely up to operating temp nobody in their right mind will hold it. Just when it's coming up to temp, the lower should be cooler. If not, flush the system and check the water pump.

Mine's a GT and even with the stock t-stat I'd run around 200-205 in warm fall weather. Now with a 180 I run about 190-195 in the summer.
 
Bought more stuff for it.

Bought a headlight housing, Silverstar headlights, and a header panel off of Amazon to fix part of the deer damage. Then I went on eBay and bought an extra key, two FOB's, and a new keypad for my current FOB.

Not a bad way to spend $170. Now all I need is a hood.

found my key fob under my seat lol lucky me. try there you never know whats hidding und there AHHHHH BIG SPIDER!!!
 
Well, I actually have one, but the buttons are worn out. I've wanted a 2nd one for awhile now anyway. I'll just have to see how much GM wants to rape me for to program the new ones.
