thats pretty damn fast for a 35 zone lol you got off easy. either way.
its time to pick up some yard yard glass, swap the windows, show the cops look all better now lol
Its a wide open road, 35 is a bogus speed limit on it. Either way, I was speeding per the law, and the officer only enforces the laws, he doesn't make them, so I hold no grudge.
I didn't think about the option of putting some jy glass in. I'm just wondering if it will fly with the rear window still being tinted.
One thing I can say though is at least the officer cited the statute correctly. Basically the statute reads, "If the officer cannot easily see inside, its in violation." It is written elsewhere that 70% of light must be able to be trasmitted or it's in violation, which basically means all tint is illegal in PA if they quote that.
As far as other options, I could:
1. Pay to have the tint removed, get it checked out by a LEO, then put it back on in a week or so.
2. Find a cool LEO to check it off for me.

3. Find someone with a black 04-08 without tint, trade cars with them for a day, and get it checked out. I would put my plates on it too. I'd just have to hope he didn't check the VIN. Too bad my cousin's Comp G is copper and not black.
4. Don't get it fixed and inspected and wait for the fine in the mail.
Option 2 or 3 would be the cheapest. LOL For option 4 I need to find out what the fine is. I have searched the internet high and low and haven't gotten a conclusive answer. I have read anything from $109 total to $100 per window.
