• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

2500 series. Still have to run wiring, and hook up the amp. I'm excited it's been a year since I've had a sub in a vehicle that wasn't factory.

Sent using Tapatalk 2 from my GS3.

Got up at 8, and started washing the car.

Used some wax remover to take what was left off.

Used my new DA with some Ultimate compound, followed by Ultimate Polish, and then Ultimate Wax. (did two coats of wax, because some was in sunlight and caked too fast)

Pictures honestly don't do it justice. It is the cleanest the car has ever been, and probably ever will be.

This was taken at my Apartment. We have a small run off of the Tomoka River run through 2 apartment building so we have a nice little wooden bridge/reserve area.

so went to my friend's to finish what work could be done trailer wise. painted some stuff, finished the weed whacker line spool rack.

it needs a metal tube for a spacer and its done, or larger spings.

tomorrow if i can borrow my friends car will be hub day. as its a movin, and started to growl.

You'll whole car will be painted soon won't it? lol
Actually no, cause painting seats and other stuff like that is not as easy as they say, if u want to fix fading with the same color = easy - changing the color is bad mojo. .... And Painting A Hood Liner is hard as well, but found a better way for that, spray it with rocker guard first and then easy to paint. Pics to come yet, still painting hood liner, And the sun is back out, and warming up again.

Well, I actually did this yesterday, but since I have been having internet issues I couldn't post about until today.

Anyway, I had a new filter made for the car. I needed an angle to make the longer filter fit so I got the perfect combonation. Best of all, the filter only cost me $5 and I got exactly what I wanted.

As dsmuts said no IAT on 04+. As for where I got it, have you ever heard of the company Green Filter? They are a "competitor" to K&N. Competitor is in quotes because K&N flat out owns the market and Green is about 1%, but does make a lot of private label stuff.

Well, the guy who owns the company I work for, also owns Green Filter. The product is warehoused in the same building I work in, and is produced less than a mile away. Due to the variety of molds I can get just about any size filter I want. I was able to get it so cheap because the cotton and mesh part was pulled from a scrap pile, so all I had to pay for was the urethane part of the filter.

Tnx dan.

I took mine out

It seems like the stock one gets cooler air since the cone filter is in the engine bay especially when driving in the city with traffic light.

But im going to build a box for it soon.
