• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

you broke a vac line end i bet. ^^^^^

I was thinking it had to do with the vac system....now for a day off so I can properly look at it again....when I first started it...there was a loud squeal or screech....was unable locate source.....this morning it was quiet as a mouse until after I dropped my daughter off for school...then it came back....got to work...unable to get it to happen again so far...

Ordered a bunch of stuff for the car and attempted to install boost gauge and pillar pod. That part went well and quick then the $4 box of assorted vacuum T's were useless. Some fit the boost line while some fit the MAP line but none fit both together smh. And already had snipped the vacuum line so car has been immobile most of the day til I can get a ride in the morning.

i had a idler pulley that was on its way out, every morning it would growl a little bit.

spray some carb cleaner around the vac lines, if the idle jumps, you found your vac leak area.

if you cut a factory plastic vac line, you can use a 2 inch piece of vac tubing to mate it back together, till you get the right parts.

This is why I stay on this site....all the people I have encountered are ready and willing to help...:-)

be sure to give us a review of the Callahan brakes and rotors, i been waiting for someone to pop on this brand and see how they are.

I haven't ever put them on any of my own yet but have been using them through the shop. Never had any complaints from customers. Only downside is they have to prepay for parts, wait a week to be called and scheduled in. Of course if they don't mind paying the Napa prices I have had good luck with the parts I get from them. Mine are warped, so perfect time to upgrade and replace pads.

Cleaned and waxed my rims, plus used tire shine

Removed the top end from the L26 got the l67 heads on and all torqued up. Found out that the 11 ft/lb torque spec for the lim bolts was never intended for used bolts......
