tap the bolt head a few times, if that dont help, use a small pipe over the ratchet. i use my bottle jack pump handle for this all the time.

if you dont have a pipe, but have a box wrench that will fit over the end of your ratchet, that will also work.

I was under the impression that the 3.6 is unreliable in comparison to a 3.8...

Will never be the new 3.8! The 3800 glory days were back in the Grand National and was pushed by a nice size turbo, then stepped up to a supercharger and did what it could for the time without killing the Corvette flagship (a mistake they made with the GNX back in the day). The 3.6 not being boosted will never replace the 3.8 and even still will not hold up as well.
They have lots of problems. Not a good start for an upgrade.

Not my car, but I drive it as a work vehicle. I replaced all motor/trans mounts on a GM 3.4 liter with the 4t65e. 192k miles on original mounts :th_crossbones1:
Can you even find the mount? Or at least what's left of it.
Old/New
New one put in place, holes lined up.

All that horrible reverse/drive clunking is gone and so is the vibration.
