• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

That hardly ever works. Most junkyards won't even sell a windshield because of the difficulty of removing one without breaking it. Unless you are a pro with pro tools, the chances of successful removal without breakage are slim to none.

Took apart my whole intake. Cleaned tb,maf sensor and dumped some dirt out of the body of it, cleaned and redid my intake with no chance its leak now. And switched back to my old spectre filter since its cleaner and slightly bigger. Did a few other odds n ends under the hood. Oil change in a few days as I approach 3000miles again.

I'm getting a jy windshield. $150 and then around $90 to put it in. Hud ones are expensive

Dude what? You got full coverage? Jus report to your insurance you can get a free one from safelite with no premium increase. My molding was cracking during the winter. So I shot my windshield with a bb gun and got a free one lol

Yup I'm sure your paying insurance every month for a reason use it Dsmuts.

Supposedly the different between the non HUD windshields and HUD windshields are minor I've heard guys not having a issue but it doesn't appear as clear from wht I understand

#1. Not all insurance has glass coverage, unless you add it.
#2 Why pay $240 to install junkyard glass when you can get brand new for under $300 installed from Safelite?

I just have liability on all my vehicles. I don't need full coverage on a car like this. Safelite isn't close to me and iirc if was around $500 for hud glass. Jordons hud is on regular glass and is a little lighter than Mine.

Then go with non HUD glass if you think it looks okay. $300 and a lifetime warranty are a lot better than $240 and no warranty. And there are two Safelites within 50 miles of you.

I don't want to drive an hour though just to get a windshield. I'll check them out and see how much it would be though. It takes what like an hour to swap one?

When I got mine done by Safelite it literally took the guy like 30 minutes. He had the cracked one out in like 10 minutes. It was amazing.

Got home today and I haven't pulled out my cars in over a week. Decided I'd pull 'em out and clean them up a bit.

Messed around with my Pontiac Driving excitement plate.
