The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
I ended up having to take the speaker out so I could better reach it and put a zip tie on the end cuz I had one handy.
But hey, I figured which wires were which and guessed the right block first try. Yay!
I've got one for you. On Stealths/3000GT's there isn't a boot. It is a harness plug that plugs into the dooe harness in the door jamb. After years and years of opening and closing the door the wires start to get brittle and sometimes break off right at the harness. Well that happened to me and the wire that broke, was the main power for the harness, so my power windows didn't work, nor did my power locks. I had to tap off of the power wire where it broke and get past the harness connector, then get my hands up inside the door to tap the wire on the backside of harness, so I could get my power back.
Cut hands and lots of cussing later, I finally got it, but it SUCKED.
I got these bad boys installed today. Lee is going to have to wire them because the boot and entrance for the wires into the car was kicking my ass and I gave up. Plus, its colder than crap and windt today and I don't have anywhere inside to put the car. Yes, I'm a whimp.
So...tada!
And for anyone who wants to know...this is the wire block the turn signals are wired to. It's the back one on the left side of the compartment
Light blue is driver side turn and dark blue is passenger side turn.
Took my rear rotors to get turned... The chic at O'Reilly's claims they don't turn cross drilled rotors there. She says "I've worked here for 15 years and we've never turned those type of rotors". I'm like but a few months ago I had my front ones turned here. So instead of arguing with her, I went to car quest and they did it. However, before I left O'Reilly's I told them I'm going to bring in my receipt just to prove a point. And I will here shortly...
did a trans service on my friends 3500 Silverado, 2wd is much less of a pita vs a 4x4 ill vouch for that now.
the truck has hauled tons of grass and whatever and towed a trailer from day one, its a 06 with 57,000 miles or so on it, the fluid was a bit dark, but there was hardly any clutch material on the magnet. i expected a mound on the magnet, so hes looking good for the future.
Hey anyone know if you can take a small side mirriors a car has and replace it with some bigger ones? My friend has this Impala with small Side mirriors and wants to put some little more bigger ones.
