I crossthreaded the subframe bolts on my silver car last year. I got an annoying random clunk at times. Realizing I had effectively tapped a new thread in, I just stuck a pipe on top of the breaker bar and continued crossthreading it all the way in. It didn't clunk any more after that... although that bolt's not coming out again.
 


I haven't done much to it besides drive as works been busy and crappy weather.

I did order it a new antenna and module receiver to hopefully fix my keyless range and tpms issues.
Id wash it tonight after work but its supposed to rain.
 
Haven't done anything to mine in a while either. But today I'm switching to a 195 t stat for the winter, it's supposed to get cold fast now. Talking about snow.
Also need to get my retros done! I just need to verify the angle is correct and seal them up.
 
Woohoo, rockers came in today. I'm at work, but the wife says they just got here. Depending on how I feel I'll install them this weekend. Damn kids got me sick.

Yay glad they came early. If for some reason the sharpie wore off, the bag with the piece of electrical tape is the 1.85 ratio and the other is the 1.8.

Stuff came today. Retros should be here tomorrow. And more parts in the mail Monday
 
Put the new sticker on and filled up one side of my rear glass. I don't think this One will stick long. Forgot to remove the rains and it kept peeling off on me.

Spent 10 minutes on it. Used silicone adhesive to keep it in place. I have magnets on both ends til it dries. More than enough light, I'll get a night time pic soon
That pic is with the car not running, and its already bright. Looks awesome

I paid 50 shipped two year warranty even through Amazon just save your order number and this kit got voted brighter than vvme and ddm on an hid review site and it looks like it in pics

Also yeah Brandon let us know how they do after they break in after a month. Because you already know I'm okay spending 180 bucks on TRS stuff lol

Back when I was driving my '96 Cutlass Supreme, I "retro'd" a set of kensun 9006 HID bulbs into the sealed beam glass housing. They were still going two years later when I sold the car. I figure, I saved money. Or at least broke even. I couldn't get a sealed beam to last longer than 6 months in that car. Plus I was the only '96 Cutlass Coup rocking HID's.

That wasn't a subframe bolt that was your sway bar bracket bolt.
 


Works been keeping me busy. Lots of overtime. The Regal gets some much needed love tomorrow though and is getting some 1.9s thrown on in the morning.
