• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

My turn signal housings are done
No pics? Tapatalk fail. Hold on.. Well take my word for it, they're gloss black with the orange reflector inside. Looks pretty good

I drove it. I've been thinking about raising the car back up. As much as I love how it looks low the ride, bottoming out, hitting stuff, and the toll its taking on the other parts is starting to bug me. While trying to fix my tranny leak again this past weekend I found yet another ripped axle boot on the passenger side. There's nothing that could cut the boot, it's somehow getting these little pinholes everytime.

Any dry rotting? Aftermarket new/rebuilt axles can come with some junky boots. OEMS are much nicer. I guess warranty or replace the boots yourself if you feel up to it

Outers are easy. Inners are easy only if you're doing both. I did the boots since OEM axles are known to last if the boots stay intact, I knew about them being ripped the day after it happened so no water/dirt got in. Aftermarket axles can suck, I heard Napa's are good though.

Just ran to the store and on the way back I lost low beams again. I pulled in the driveway and popped the hood and started messing kind of blindly with relays since I couldn't really see which was which and got them to come back on. I don't know if it was coincidence or if the relay is making poor connection but I will have to look at it again in the light.

I got my freshly painted 3 gauge pillar pod installed. Got it off ebay from ZZP as a "blemished" piece. I guess they used to sell them pre-painted tan. Well this one was discounted due to all the scratches in the paint.

Cleaned off the old paint with acetone, hit it with some 600 grit wet/dry paper, washed with TSP, hit it with one more round of acetone, sprayed 5 THIN coats of duplicolor "desert sand" and it looks good. Paint bonded well.

Put the aeroforce in the first hole, AEM wideband going in the second hole. Not sure what to put in the third hole. What are you guys running for gauges?

id get a oil pressure gauge, and a volt gauge, if you shop around you'll find two gauges in one. those are the only two your not gonna see other wise.

My car did what I said to Scott it would. Hit 24 average MPG's. Pretty sure the car is doing it out of spite since Scott reset his to send me a picture over 15mpg.
