TB is made of aluminum right? grinders dont like to grind AL so much, clogs it up. one of then sand paper flapper wheels may work better, or a metal grinding bit.

you v8 guys have the knock sensors under the lim? if so pull that foam off the ends. all it does is trap water and or moisture under the lim.

Still an LS4 Intake. Can't afford a LS1 or 6 intake right now. And I almost, almost ripped the foam off today. I figured GM probably put it there for a reason and it would be best to leave it, for now.

if you got the knock sensors up there what happens is they get wet under that foam plug, they they rust, and fail, and then the manifold comes off again..

you take the foam off, then rtv the foam plug in place after drying the ks holes if they are wet.

before. this was done to change the K/S's the rear one was flooded.

Well i got the other two wheels so story time.

We pull up in the guys house and he tells me he dropped one wheel on the face and scratched it so he knocked 30 bucks off the price. Okay cool you cant see it unless your on top of them. Little marks like this on the spokes.

It gets better....I'm parked in the street fiddling with the GPS. All of a sudden SLAM, THE DUDE BACKED INTO US LOL. Admitted he wasn't paying attention and he definitely came out of it worse than us. It was in a trailer park and he was half in his driveway so we didn't call the police and now i wish we would have for insurance. But me and my grandpa were is disbelief the guys car was only a month old too.

car vs truck........car never wins...


i had a car, a honda, back into my truck, they t boned my truck at the bumper dead center of the hondas trunk, the honda folded like a soda can. not a scratch on my truck, she hit the tail light too. not a scratch there either.

shes all your paying for this!!!! im like you backed into me.....hell you never looked!!!! or you would have seen me. you could have just ran someone over.....at that point her 7 foot tall huge black boyfriend who looked like he wanted to kill me, turned on her, hes like, hes right lol she flipped her lid. i left. bye bye.
 


gave that treat to guy once too. it was right after 911 happened, ( funny but there was no road rage for months after the towers fell, everyone was so nice, very odd) in thick NY traffic and the car behind me hits me, so i get out, so does he, its a hasidic jewish guy. if you dont know what or who these people are, they dont bathe, shower, wear deodorant, so yeah, they stink like hell.

so they are dirty, oh, and they wear the same suit for days on end, it shows. their cars are always beat to hell, dented smashed up never washed. this guys car was no exception.

so we get out to see the damage, hes got a hitch hole in his bumper, i got nothing but some blue paint on my hitch ball.....and friends used to ask me why i left it in year round...i used the longer hitch too, not that snub nose hitch, this one stuck out a good 8 inches.

the best was when people walked into it lol i did once,,,,,,,once, you learn after that, it hurts bad.

Time to hand sand the inner portion now with 600, 1000, and 2000 grit. Make sure you do not touch the blade contact area, also don't be surprised if you get a code soon, if your not careful blending the areas in the tb they can set a code.
 


you take a wide walk around the back, or open the tail gate for extra safety.

i like to have it for snow plowing. cause in these nes gm trucks you cant see the bumper in the side view mirror, so id back up to a wall and not worry if it tapped it or not.

plus i towed my boat two times a weekend if the weather allowed it to go out. sat was the fishing day, sunday was drunken anchored off in a cove time. had a bbq on the boat too....the good old days. till the boat starts to get old and break down......

you know what boat stands for right?

best two days of a boat owners life? the day he gets it, and the day he sells it lol
 
I've always been told that, glad i dont plan on owning a boat.

Now i just gotta wait for my hub centric rings to arrive and hope i don't need to balance these tires.
